Did Jose Luis Castillo retire?

    I know he said if he looses the Lujan fight he would retire and he lost,but I haven't heard an interview in which he clearly announced anything.From where I am I might miss something but maybe the mexican fans or somebody can tell me if he's retired.

    He said he would if he lost to Lujan but sadly he proabaly won't. He has money issues is going through a divorce and owes the Chico estate money. It's really sad that a great fighter like JLC who gave us so many great monents can't retire in peace.:-(

    I know about the Chico family thing but why the hell did his wife leave him,he doesn't look the type to beat her or cheat on her,btw I saw her at the second Mayweather fight,she looked fine:nut

    Yeah but do you imagine Castillo beating a woman especially his wife?He always was a nice guy,no bull****,no trash talk,no cars,no bling-bling.I just don't see it,must be something else.

    If he can't make 140, he has no business fighting any top 10 WW's. He can retire, or make money fighting stiffs in Mexico. He's done as a top fighter.

    I'm praying that he does . . . except for needing the money theres no more reason for him to fight . . . he has his golden days way beyond him.

    If he hasn't, he should be seriously considering it. He is a shell of his former self and a tragedy waiting to happen if he continues. He is just lucky Lujuan wasn't a banger.
