Uhhhh.... in the 2nd fight 32 media cards were for Pac and 32 for Marquez.

This idea of a robbery is revisionist based nonsense. It was a close fight and it is what it is. Pac got the victory.

If you did a deep-dive on the half that scored it for Pac you would find they were a lot of his routine cheerleaders and dumb shills that DKSAB like Stephen A. Smith or whatever. Of people that know how to score, a vast majority scored all three of the original trilogy for JMM.

How about 2 professional judges who scored it for Pacquiao? Surely they have some professional expertise.

It's not like Pac or Arum or Roach paid off the judges???? Or do we really want to go down that rabbit hole.

Many judges with loads of experience (as well as many pundits, and fans) don't really know how to score a boxing match, or emphasize the wrong criteria. Or have you never heard of CJ Ross??

Sure but did Byrd score the fight? This in all honesty is classic denial. When people dont like the result you question the legitimacy of the fight. To my knowledge Pac never cheated or paid off the judges.

You dont see me whining about Pacquiao and slow motion and beating Mayweather. Or whining about Jeff Horn or even a total robbery of Bradley I which was in the league of Chavez Pernell.

For real, you dont see me doing that and Pac is my favorite fighter. When Manny loses I accept it. When he wins I accept it. He won the fight and it is what it is.

I understand. You dont agree with the cards. It was a result and rendered legitimately. Pac won the fight. It is what it is.

I mean, yes, at the day's end I don't think any of the first three fights were among the worst robberies of the years in which they happened, let alone of all time. Scoring any of them for Pac isn't the most ridiculous thing in the world.

I just happen to believe that JMM deserved all three, and have never seen a scorecard with Pac winning any of them backed up by a compelling explanation of why, from anybody whose scoring opinions and knowledge I trust.

I get your point not trying to start a provocative thing here. I generally just go with the result that was rendered unless there was corruption, cheating, or blatant robbery. Since none of the 3 fights in the original trilogy had those elements I go with the result.

We have a philosophical difference concerning decisions rendered. I eat the result as is, barring the circumstances I outlined above. You defy the official decision and assign wins and losses based on your own cards which you are not an actual judge of.

The Pac-JMM fights will always be one of the greatest rivalries in boxing history. And the ending fight of the rivalry is legendary stuff. But it’s ruined by the fact that their rivalry is still salt-inducing between the fans to this day. Instead of just appreciating how great the fights were between 2 ATGs you still have people who are crying about some of the results of the previous fights even after JMM finally got a win. This cry of ‘robbery’ is ridiculously blown out of proportion. Pac edged some close victories over JMM and deserves all the credit, much like how JMM gets all the credit for his KO win.

The robbery cries are unending. And does a disservice to actual robberies in boxing history.

Exactly my point. There are way more horrific robberies and the Pac/JMM fights don’t even come close to that. I would also compare the Pac/JMM to the Canelo/GGG. Great fights but ruined by a bunch of crybabies that can’t accept that the guy that they wanted to win didn’t get the victory even though they were very close fights.

Sugar Ray Leonard edged Hagler in their fight and yet you don’t see an endless amount of people crying ‘robbery’. It’s still one of SRL’s best wins, even though he barely squeaked it and a case could have been made for a Hagler winning that fight.

Mike McCallum also barely won the rematch against Sumbu Kalambay (the same guy who completely outboxed him in their first fight), a fight that could have gone either way. And nobody complains about the results of that fight.

2012 was 7 years ago, in terms of a career that's far. And his absolute prime was 10 years ago.
