lol obviously I jest, but I couldn't even focus on the fight because I found myself constantly gawking at this boot leg Pacman, he even came out to "We will rock you"...he moved like Pac in the ring well sort of, anyway just seeing if anyone else noticed this.

yeah, he's even built like pac with those short legs and huge calves. also was sporting the same shoes pac wears. doesn't quite have the same toughness though. it's cool that he idolizes pac but i like to see people create their own style.

I too noticed that he obviously patterned his style after Pac. Surely didn't work though, this time.

Who was his cornerman? Roach? I know Roach as trained him before, or at least worked his corner before. Guess Roach will probably distance himself now?

lol, made himself look like the EPIC *******....

WAY too slow, way too off-balanced to adopt that style of fighting.
He'd jump in at an angle and totally choke off his own punches getting in too close. And JM just kept timing his in/out movement TOO much. What was the percentage of JuanMa's Left - 75%? That **** just couldnt MISS!

I was kidding, it was a fun little fight, would have liked to see it be more competitive but overall it was at least exciting while it lasted. Seriously though, was that not the guy that sits in the closet and watches fights for Pacman that was in his corner...

Pac has a big advantage with his akward style because of his southpaw stance, Concepcion is orthodox. Concepcion also doesnt have the same athleticsm and he loads up on his punches too much you can really see them coming, Pac always had that very fast and powerful straight left.

Last night, he just couldnt handle the power and his defense wasnt good enought to last much longer.

Concepcion look just like Pac in the ring. It was sick looking. I thought he was good beforehand, too.

The only thing that looked similar to Manny was his hair and skin tone. He wasn't even the PAC Man that we saw first make his US debut 9 yrs ago. And that PAc was HELLA one demensional and raw. Conception is actually a good fighter but he's a level beneath Lopez and 3 level beneath Manny. I'm surprised he was able to catch Lopez with the massive disparity in speed, but Lopez got over anxious and got caught. He's a top level guy for sure and would absolutely beat Gamboa I believe.:yep I did notice the kid trying to use some "PAC esque" head movement. Just wasn't effective b/c he isn't fast enough.

I have to admit I was also stunned by the resemblance. The raw talent and refined skills weren't there, but his gestures, movement, and physical appearances certainly reminded me of Pac.

In the same way that someone who beats Cliff Couser beat Mike Tyson.
