Did Judah have more natural talent than all of his opponents?

Looking back at some Judah fights, I think that he was more talented than all of the opponents he faced, including Mayweather. Reflexes, power, speed, and decent defense. If his mindset was there he could have been great!

More athletic talent yes, but Boxing is not a game; you have to learn it and respect it and in both those facets he was hugely under prepared.

i think he was is most of his fights, talent can take you far but at the elite level its gone take more then talent.

would you rather have all then talent, with very little heart, stamina etc etc.

Outside of Floyd, yes it probably came easier to him than most, but that is part of the reason I hate Zab.I remember thinking I was lucky enough to see an ATG before his prime, and I made it known I was a fan, only to be made to look a total *****.
That's why the Superman clip ALWAYS hits the spot.

    Don't play with matches :rofl

I was a fan too, he's right next to Guzman in the talent pissaway championships. He suffered from the curse of the gifted, the idiot STILL pulls straight back from punches, where as guys like Hopkins didn't have the physical gifts to chance that. I'll take Bernard any day.

    Agreed.:deal
Bernard is the absolute antithesis of Judah. Not having the talent but grabbing every opportunity he could by the balls.(Cue Calzaghe and Dawson jokes)
I don't give a ****.Bernard is a genuine example of how to get on on life when the cards ain't stacked in your favour.Unlike Zab.:patsch

Seeing as he was basically Pernell Whitaker with power, yes.

Hopkins has been faster than 95% of his opponents IMAO. The fact that he is very dedicated doesn't mean that he has no natural talent
