From my perspective, there was no doubt he quit. He was throwing less and less as the rounds went on and his shots were less and less powerful. His face was also increasingly becoming uglier. I saw no shot of him winning if this was gonna go the distance and I think he made the right tactical decision by lying (so ****ing obviously) and saying he couldn't see. Thoughts? I've read a lot of posts by ppl who feel judah cuda won if this went another 3 rounds; THATS RIDICULOUS imo
well i've never seen the fight yet,but here we go with another fighter quitting thread,it's becoming very tiresome.atsch
If you saw the fight you'd be even more tired. Judah got hysterical (not quite Tszyu/Judah-like) and these idiots think he quit. The ****ing doctor waved him off and he immediately protested.
Yes, he did. When the doc held 2 fingers up and asked him him many, Judah said 3 knowing that the doc would call it right there. He intentionally misled the doc the get the easy out. He was fading and it wasn't looking good but up to that point he was pretty game. He almost got out of it with a draw, rematch and another payday. :smoke:smoke
I'm not saying judah doesn't have courage or anything. I just feel he deliberately lied about his vision in order to go to the cards through 9; that's the tactical decision he made.
Right, most of whom have probably never taken an actual punch in their lives. They have no problem calling actual fighters quitters and cowards, though, do they? :-(
I just think it makes some of these morons feel better to denigrate much more succesful men than themselves. Judah has fought for the undisputed title at two weight classes, not many can say that.
I never called judah a coward u idiot. I said he made a tactical decision to LIE and go to the cards thru 9; to me that's quitting...I never based that in cowardice.
Saying someone quit doesn't mean someone thinks THEY are brave. Hell, I would have quit just like Cotto did if I thought I was about to be seriously hurt. Just like your man Bernard, I would have done just what he did and fein low blows to get a rest or two so that I would not be stopped for the first time. I might also do what Judah did and lie through my silver teeth when asked if I asked the doctor to stop the fight. It's human nature to not be able to admit you were beaten by another man and boxers like the above mentioned are classic examples. Two of them will be future hall-of-famers and in the case of B-Hop will go down as an all-time great. But quitting happens all the time, happened in the past (Holmes TKO 10 Ali) and will continue to happen. To me, there is nothing wrong at all with quitting when a fighter thinks he's had enough and could only be hurt if they chose to go out on their shield. As a former fighter myself, I can't say that I blame a fighter for quitting. The stigma of quitting should be removed once and for all.
Oh you ****ing know what he was thinking. ****ing ****** keyboard warrior . I am just stunned. I have been a Judah complainer on this site for 7 years and here I am defending him. The highlight of my boxing calls is when I called the Tszyu fight. I can't stand Judah. But you're a ****ing idiot.
Ohh brother. Is THIS what this forum has resorted to? So, because we have never boxed, we can't discuss our opinions? Are you fuccing kidding me? So by your logic then, because Judah has never run a company, like I have and am doing presently, he's a waste of space, right? And has zero right to discuss buiness topics nor give hs opinion, right? Good God almighty.
Thanks for proving Dan's point about keyboard warriors. You immediately go to name calling. And why so defensive anyway? I never said that you called Judah a coward. I was responding to another post, and that one didn't mention you by name either. Relax.
