that's what I was thinking , but we can't prove it. The officials need to do a much better job of examining gloves and wraps prior to fights and also they should always make sure to retrieve the gloves and wraps after the fight. Problem solved if they become sticklers about this

Looking at that wrap, it seems like it was hard like a wet towel left out in the sun too much and it gets dry and hardens but it's not even close to what people think.
