    neah, there is no excuse. Kahn has horrible defense, no inside game and worst of all jumps in like a drunken elephant while leaving himself exposed. I don't agree with the posters that term this punch as "lucky" as I think Garcia was trying to land this left from round 1, so there wasn't anything lucky about it.

    That said, this is a boxing forum and we are here to discuss what happened. If you are just content in everyone saying oh yea he lost, lets stop all discussion then what the **** are you on about.

    It was no lucky punch but landing on the neck gave Khan no chance of recovery

    Kind of debuks everything where he says "it's hard to knock somebody out hitting them on the temple"

    Khan gets hurt by glancing blows across his temple.

    But yes that shot to the neck/rear jaw area would knock most people on this forum under 180lb's down..and would knock most of them out.

    and it would do the same for most 140lb boxers.

    Khan should have burnt himself in for atleast 6 rounds before getting into stupid trades with Garcia.

    garica is a good puncher and khan took that **** on neck/ jaw. he never got his legs back from after that. i think it was a punch he never saw coming and **** happens. not to many fighters walk through blind haymaker left hooks anyways. ill give khan a pass before i give ortiz one.
