Did Keith "Swervacito" Thurman SWERVE Jessie Vargas?!

Jessie Vargas has proven that he is nobody's comeback opponent. To consider him as a tune up is to grossly underestimate him. It is wise of Keith to pick an easier opponent coming off elbow surgery as he is. Thurman at 100% whoops Vargas any day of the week anyway.

 

Hes not a soft touch that's for sure, and with how high his stock rose from Ali beating Cotto @Paranoid Android , i can't say I blame him if he doesn't take the fight.

No, I think he LERVES him.

 

I think Thurman should have an easy tuneup fight, esp. after surgery, to test himself, to see if he has healed, then a hard fight.

 

I understand wanting a soft touch after surgery/inactivity however if he wants to be the #1 WW in the world through 2018 then he can't be Salka'ing it.

 

He can fight a complete and utter nobody bum for all i care. Aslong as we get spence next

i think vargas a decent come back fight. mostly cuz he has no power and if keiths elbow fail him maybe he can survive. i maybe underestimating vargas power but i dont think its really there. but the sadam ali makes u wander a little bit.

he can always take the risky herrera route. u kno herrera is down for that all day that boy will come to compete and close decision u kno he might be able to make it work !
