IsaL I criticize GG but he can fight. And he;s doing the one thing that you have to do no matter how bad things may seem. He's winning. Brook won a round on crowd cheering but he was getting ****ed up every round and it was getting worse.

I don't lie when it comes to boxers. GG was about to put him in ICU, and he was clearly hurt before the stoppage. He probably still arrived in ICU unless he was able to take the pain waiting in Emergency lol. Brook was brave but in way over his head. And i might be a boxing fan longer than you've been alive.

What I don't get is this praise you and the GGGoons have for Brook for cashing out on a fight.

Brook fought a lot better than what most people gave him a chance.. I get that. He won 2-4 rounds depending on who you talk too. he really didn't do anything that hasn't been done before though. And when the heat came on, he stopped fighting, yes I know, to PRESERVE his HEALTH, which is fine and dandy, but as a hardcore boxing fan, it is nothing that impresses me when I have seen fighters in much worse condition keep fighting.

I did not bother with that thread you made because I don't try to win arguments by having other people agree with me. I like to use facts, logic, and what is tangible. IMO Kirkland is a better fighter than Lemieux. That is MY opinion, and you have yours. The difference is that I back up my opinion with arguments related to both fighters. I don't make a general question and have people answer. So now that you brought that topic up, and I have you here, explain WHY YOU think Lemieux is a better quality fighter than Kirkland.

They both been KTFO by journeymen, they both neen KTFO by elite fighters.

Lemieux has also been outboxed and outhustled by a journeyman.

Kirkland CLEARLY has the better resume. He has fought and beat much better opposition than Lemieux.

Kirkland is a faster fighter with shorter punches, and is very powerful with 32 W 28 KO, Lemieux is also powerful with 36W 32 KO.

When you consider all that and how close they are in terms of their best assets, you have to base their quality on resume, and Kirkland has the better resume.

Again, not a knock on Brook. No point in risking permanent injury in a fight he 1. was supposed to lose, supposed to get KO, 3. And was two divisions above his CURRENT weight class.

You have two extremes in this thread. On one extreme it says Brook threw the fight, on the other extreme says Brook fought valiantly and as proof Brook has received kudos from the practically ALL of the boxing World because he could have ended up in the ICU if he did not quit.

Then here I come and say Brook gave it his all, tried his best to win, until the reality of it disappeared from his HEART in round 5 when Golovkin had his way with him. The reality was, Brook was not a MW, Brook was the underdog, brook was starting to get beat down, Brook was expected to lose by KO according to the bookies, AND Brook got paid 5 million +PPV (His biggest pay by far) just for answering the first bell. Why risk permanent injury in an exhibition/circus act of a fight.

If you want to debate, come at me with tangible information, not fantasy matchups like Lemieux and Brook would be so and so and so and so, how about you show me who they have beat as I show you.

In conclusion, I rate Kirkland higher than Lemieux based on ability and RESUME; I also don't give Brook all the credit youa nd the GGGoons do, because better and lesser fighters have fought with worse injuries than what Brook suffered.

GGG trashed Canelo and BOXING for allowing Canelo to fight a WW at 155. Yet he turns around and fights a WW at 160.
