    To hurt Golovkin?

    Yes, I know GGG has never been hurt or dropped in 400 fights or so.

    But of recent middleweights, I wonder still how that fight would turn out, and would his power bother Golovkin.

    He has truly devastating 2 handed power; ramrod jab, thunderous right, left hook.
    Had length, cajones and determination.

    Landing it would have been the challenge for sure, but this is one fight where G could possibly be on the backfoot.

    I think G would win, but take some damage in this fight. Just not sure what extent of damage.

    Bit of a wasted career by Pav and potentially underrated now.

    At his best, Kells was a force. Lot of people don't realise or remember how good a boxer he was in addition to the punching power he possessed. Problem is, he wasn't at his best for long.

    Good hitter with volume as well. Pavlik would be the biggest puncher GGG would have faced I think other than Lemiuex.

    Would have been a great fight

    GGG does not use his chin as his first line of defence like Margarito or Oliver McCall. He is defensively astute.

    If anyone at 160 gives Pavlik a free shot I'm not sure they could avoid being koed.

    He certainly had the power. But prime for prime, peak Golovkin probably still wins. Great fight though!

    People seem to forget that Pavlik was dropped hard and nearly stopped in the first Taylor fight. I don't think a prime GGG wouldn't have finished him right there.

    Tough fighter with good speed and power,crazy stamina. Problem was he was a sitting duck with terrible movement and alcoholism.

    No doubt. And Kelly was a much much bigger middleweight then Lemiuex. Would have been an interesting fight with blood shed for sure

    Hurting Golovkin is one thing, stopping him is another. In a matchup I think GGG knocks him out mid rounds 5th or 6th.

    I think Kelly had a punch good enough that, if landed clean, could do some damage, maybe even drop 3G. But would not expect that to happen enough for Pav to win.
