Whoever says he faked the knockout clearly has never felt a hook to the body... Or watched enough boxing to have seen the same punch (left rip) knock out a whole heap of guys (legends included).

    As legit as they come.

That just looks like it hurts. There's no faking that.

Well the knockdown was legit. But could Kermit have made it up in time? Maybe. But it doesn't matter either way. Knockout because he was hurt so bad he couldn't get up or Knockout because he was hurt so bad he didn't want to get up. Either one is legit in my book.

Teddy Atlas broke that fight down and he said that he was disappointed in Cintron technically ... he said that his stance wasn't good, he defense was sloppy - he kept leaning to the side and leaving himself open for the right hand.

    Where was his jab?

In all honesty, I'd rather take a clean shot to the head than that punch. I got hit with a left to the body sparring once, it felt like somebody stabbed me. If it lands the right way, you're in a world of hurt.

Naw dude. Look at the replay. Margo did not pull that punch. It makes the DLH-Hopkins body shot look like a love tap. I wouldn't be surprised if Cintron had a couple broken ribs from that punch.

His stance was TERRIBLE. I can't imagine what he was thinking, standing up straight like that the entire fight. No real ring generalship at all.

People are actually saying that it was faked?

    :patsch

I saw it once, and once was enough. That was one hell of a punch that landed clean. Anyone who disagrees should go to Margo's gym and ask him to give them the same shot in the same place. Let's see if you'll be able to get up.

I watched replay few times, and from another angle you can see whole Cintrons body beeing moved by that punch (looks like liver beeing pushed into other side of the body), add that it was perfect on the spot one with his right hand half extended and you can imagine what pain Kermit felt that time.
