Um I am still awaiting another step in class ..But I have to admit I was impressed with his speed and percision ..
i was already a fan but i think alexander will give him major problems due to speed power and slickness also khan needs to improve his inside game
Khan was good last night and i like him ok as a person. I'd like to see him fight someone with pop in their hands.
It wasn't a brilliant performance at all. It was a good, solid performance, and if anything, Khan should have performed slightly better. Since he didn't take this fight as seriously as he should have (apparently), he performed as well as I thought he would.
I was already a fan, and pleased to notice his improvements. I still don't think he's ready to face Maidana, Alexander or Bradley yet. I'd like to see a couple of more fights, so that he can iron out the last few mistakes he still tends to make. Only then would I like to see him in there with the top guys. But yeah, over all I think it was an impressive performance, even more considering he sucked the life out of Paulie, and legitimately stopped him
im a fan now, blazin speed good conditioning , accuracy i like the hands up defence too , i am a fan :good
He has improve under Freddie, but im still not convince he would be able to handle pressure esp. someone with power and who presses the action. The Paulie fight was good to get him confidence, but I still would like to see more of him.
It was workmanlike rather than impressive for me. It was made clear why he picked Malignaggi as an opponent and he said as much himself, he wanted to put on a show on his US debut and it's easier to do that against someone with no power as he can take more chances, considering Paulie's power I don't think he took many chances at all which is why I would rate his performance as workmanlike. I think he needs to work on his inside game more before taking on Bradley or Alexander, Khan could outbox Maidana but the question mark will be if he gets caught but if he using his jab correctly and stays on the backfoot he should be able to keep him at distance.
True, his inside game is poor. Can't really think of a time when he's displayed it at all, he's your typical mid-range fighter and gets his combinations off better there, but at least his range control has improved aswell.
