This is an old subject. I don't really care to get caught up in it. The only thing I have to say is Kimbo was dropped, and knocked out by a barrage of punches that followed. A lot of people try to call this a one punch ko, but the footage clearly shows different. The punch, not a slip, caused Kimbo to go to his knees. Kimbo looked ok from there, and made numerous attempts to stand. Petruzelli was never a world class mma fighter, but he is fairly strong. I do think taking 8 or 10 of his punches to the side of the head would knock out a lot of guys.

 

gus johnson is a really annoying commentator, i wish they would get rid of him.
