Did Klitschko end Briggs permanently?

    I just saw the fight on TV and can't help but think Briggs is damaged permanently after this fight. I thought Vitali came close to killing him in round 8. That is not a joke either. I honestly think Briggs is F-uped beyond all repair. Why the hell didn't the corner or ref stop that fight?

    Fine? As in finely f-ed up! This was the kind of fight that hurts boxing because it was stupid how the ref failed to stop it in the 8th after Briggs took something like 20 shots.

    Fine in the sense he's suffered a concussion and several facial fractures, including one under both eyes, and I think a fractured cheek bone and burst ear. But, yeah, he's cool.

    Tyson ruined Tucker and Ruddock which allowed Lewis to beat them so easily.

    When a fighter gets beat up bad you don't see that version around again.

    tyson didnt ruin tucker....it was a decent fight but tucker held more than he threw....

    I think Ruddock was mentally & physically permanently damaged by the Tyson rematch, he suffered a broken jaw in the 4th (source: Sports Illustrated), two broken ribs & swelling like the Elephant Man from the repeated bombs he took.

    However, Tucker was probably ruined by his 2 year layoff, drug abuse, loss of motivation & ballooning up in weight after the Tyson fight.
