He never fought as a pro in the US, that's for sure, as an amateur, I couldn't find any fight of him in the US
Most of his pro fights were in Austria if memory serves me correctly. I very much doubt the communist govt. would let him fight outside Europe.
I believe he was pretty old when he turned pro too especially by the norm back then. I realize the choice wasnt his though. Looks good on film IMO though. Saw a documentary on him that's no longer on YouTube. About the nicest humblest guy you could come across
I've had my eye on an amateur named Aleksandr Khyzhniak. Looks promising Still waiting for Sirenko to step it up. Spending alot of time in South Africa doesnt seem to be helping but hes young
Hes got a pro style so that's a plus. If he turns pro I'll have a big interest in him. Sirenko seems to be a very good puncher.
