Hearn said on IFL that Okolie will be back out on the Burns' undercard April 15th.

Sky can stay on air for as long as they like- it was poor planning on the part of Hearn. Okolie probably should have been on as the second fight of the night.

Dispels the myth that you have to be good to get licensed in the UK. The guy can't even parry a jab.

He was going to slot in between the Rose/Arnfield and Crolla/Linares fight - but they overran it.

I was there last night and the lad he boxed got absolutely banged, I get they needed a late replacement but still..

He was initially scheduled to take on Russ Henshaw which was a great debut fight. That fight on the weekend was scandalous and should never have been sanctioned. He'd already lost twice, hardly any boxing experience and Okolie has WSB and Olympic boxing experience. Disgusting match making.

20 second KO. It was lightwork.

Hoepfully we will see him in with Henshaw next.

Okolie almost dropped tonight and had his nose broken. Rusiewicz thought he was getting a count for touching down a knee and turns to go to the corner but Victor actually waved it off seeing Okolie in all sorts of trouble.

Ha Ha I just saw it.

    That was seriously dodgy ending.

Rusiewicz lands a wicked right hand, that freezes Okolie and shakes him down to his bones. Then Okolie does a weak return to the back of the head, and the referee steps in and stops it.

If anyone was hurt when that fight was stopped it was Okolie.

Okolie looks like he has chin issues. He is a KO loss waiting to happen.

Yup his nose was broken, he kept pawing at it in the post-fight interview as well.

Very wild and crude performance from Okolie, his trainers need to be hard on him about it and not sugarcoat him.

This is the guy that shook AJ so hard that AJ left for the day post sparring?

Okolie is the UK version of Wilder.

Just watched the okolie fight from Saturday...

Think people are being very harsh...he put the guy down 3 times in the first round and people question the stoppage...the guy was out of his depth. Also failed to see Okolie was shaken.

The Polish guy turned around, which forced the stoppage. The Polish journeyman got a good shot in which hurt Okolie.
He's still green in the pros, but has to work on his defence.

Fail to see how Okolie "almost got dropped"...

He got caught with a flush right hand then responded by nailing his opponent with a big right of his own.

Like he said in his interview afterwards, he has the firepower but he needs to work on his defense.
