    Not onlydo the K brothers have size on their side but they now have 60 fight records defending against contenders who have less than 30 "fights" worth of experience.

    lewis kept tripping over his own feet against Briggs, but then he was a superheavyweight. He got the job done but it was never that prety in competative fights.

    An entertaining bout. He never showed that body attack or threw in combos like that again. The extra 2 rounds had it be a 12rounder would of made the result more conclusive.

    Tyson did not pay Lewis anything. King OFFERED Lewis 4m so Tyson could unify the belts with Seldon. Lewis took the easy way out and walked away from his highest payday, a shot at the title and the glory of fighting Tyson...He instead went to Ireland to fight nobodies and go life and death with Ray Mercer....Same with Bowe. Fuch and Bowe wanted the Lewis fight. They offered Lewis 10million for a fight without the involvment of the WBC and Lewis refused. After that , Lewis was set to fight Bowe again for the belt he won from Hide but he got KTFO.

    I think the Shannon Briggs and Mercer fights are very entertaining, to me the best of Lewis.

    Over the last 50 years I've watch plenty of boxing. The first fights I saw were of Ali-Foreman, Ali-Frazier and the like. I still remember the whole world stopping to see these fights, which use to be on tv. Aww the good ol' days. And I'm more James Garner (ie Rockford files), as opposed to Charles Bronson.

    Haha... you're waffling, as if it was King's money and not Tyson's that paid Lewis 4 million. If you believe it was Kings money then you're a thick ****.

    Also, Lewis took team Tyson to court and that's were it was agreed that they would have to pay Lewis 4 million if they wanted to go and fight Seldon. So they were ordered to pay Lewis that money.

    Also what the **** are you going on about, your time scale is totally ****ed up. Lewis got beat by McCall way back in 94 when Tyson was in jail, Bowe had already ducked Lewis by then, so I don't no how the **** Lewis getting beat by McCall has any bearing on **** that happened in 1996.

    Even Holyfield admits both Tyson and Bowe blatantly didn't fancy the Lewis fight... and their actions well and truly painted that picture.

    You dont have a fcuking clue. Are you aware of how much money King took from Tyson. Tyson paid King ,and King used his money. Tyson was not self mananged....Lewis took Tyson to court in 2001. I can pull the links....Provide proof that Lewis took Tyson to court in 1996.

    Yes I am aware, hence why I said you must be ****ing mad thinking it was King's money that paid Lewis. lol

    It was decided outside of court, King agreed to pay Lewis 4 million not to fight him with the promise he gets next shot at the title after they fought Seldon. They never stuck to that promise and gave up the belt to then pick Holyfield who they thought was done as a boxer... luckily they found out he wasn't and got his head boxed off.

    If King wasn't ordered to pay 4 million to Lewis then were do you think the actual amount came from, do you think King just decided to pay Lewis the most amount of step aside money ever just for the fun of it ?

    Just randomly clicked on the Briggs fight, the Grant fight, and the Ruddock fight.


    Got to laugh at this thread... the Klits brothers make Lennox Lewis look like Rocky Marciano. hahaha

    Bring back Lennox is all I can say, the guy was a ****ing beast. He did change his tactics a bit in some fights were he would fight behind the jab... Holyfield and Tua fights. But other than that he was involved in some right tear ups.

    You'll find no reputable source on the planet to back up that statment..Bert Sugar didn't even have Lewis in the top 100 fighters of all time.
