I saw this vid claiming AJ and Lewis were Britain`s greatest punchers, do fans agree that these two were?are the hardest hitting heavyweight boxers from Britain and which of them may have punched harder than the other?

Imo, Fitzsimmons and Wilde are Britain's best punchers.

That being said I regard Lewis as the better puncher. He knocked out better fighters in the tougher era

If it means at Heavyweight I wouldn't really object. P4P, no and it's not even close.

Povetkin and Wlad were better than Tyson and Golota at that stage of their careers, Golota did nothing after being exposed by Lewis.

Not even close? What about AJ`s KO ratio? Who are you comparing him to? Benn at middleweight? Turpin? Wilde? Where would you rate these two as punchers P4P among the big British punchers down the years then?

AJs jabs against Parker weren't as good as Fitzimmons against Jeffries.

I think Fitzy put Desmond Bruttleworth away quicker than AJ would too.

Lewis had the harder one punch, I'd say. Probably Bruno as well. AJ is a better combination puncher and a more composed finisher on the other hand imo.

He's looked much less devastating whenever he's fought tougher opponents. The Takam stoppage was the softest I've ever seen.
Joshua is strong and powerfull, but more tends to wear people down with an accumulation of hard shots than someone that can really turn someone off, and often get TKOs rather than knocking people clean out.

I don't think knock out ratios on their own mean much of anything.

I think Fitz is the clear stand out, Wilde is pretty up there, I think there's a few, P4P I'd probably put Haye above Joshua.

Lewis clearly punched harder than AJ. That is not to say AJ is not a very hard puncher.

I think Lewis hit’s harder than AJ.
Lewis devastated Rahman, Golota and Ruddock amongst others, somehow I couldn’t see AJ doing it as decisively.
Pound for pound you would have to go for Fitzsimmons he was a freak who knocked out much bigger men.

I'll take Lewis as a harder hitter than AJ.

I might go with the theory that Joshua's average punch is more solid, though.

But, when the time comes to really sit down on the shots and open up the taps, give me Lewis.

Lewis was the bigger puncher with his right hand, more explosive.
Joshua has a technical ability and heavy hands though. I think his jab is better.

It looks different. Joshua looks like he hits like a truck.. Lennox was more leverage. Wilder leverage and speed. All different. I liked Lennox style more for power. Jab and even paw with the jab and set up the right hand. Countering. Wilder is more of a wild counterer. Joshua just pounds guys into submission sort of like Klitchko.
