haha thanks, it wasn't an article, entirely my own post That's the issue, Lennox was clearly wearing Vitali down, and from round 4 and onwards it was evident Lennox didn't respect Vitali's power. Lennox will always turn this into a brawl, and Vitali didn't have the power to stop Lennox, therefore he will lose. Lennox is the far superior inside fighter, and once Lennox figured out Vitali's style, he was always gonna win. As for Lennox coming back today? haha he was past it in 2003, by this point he's shot to ****. Even Haye would stop Lennox today, I think he was joking about returning :good
Your article is wasted on awesome bro, I completely agree, if you actually know a thing or 2 about boxing, its clear to see lewis coming back into the fight, had no respect for vitalis power and was not concerned atall by what vitali could do to him. Vitali was gassed and hanging on for dear life towards the end. If not tko6 it could have been 7 or 8 possibly lewis knocking him down by 9. Vitali had nothing left by round 5.
Lewis won the fight fair and square, especially as the bad cut Vitali sustained was caused by a Lewis punch and not a head clash as some think. Although the cut was bad the fight might have gone on for a few more rounds if not for the cuts man in Vitali's corner, he actually opened up the cut and made it worse, which can be seen if you watch the fight. For that particular fight Lewis wasn't in good condition, although Vitali was. A prime Lewis would be the one in the Rahman II fight, good weight, very sharp, and very focused.
There you go, it was a great fight, but we don't need to keep on hearing about it everyday! Truth is, the cuts stoppage benefited Vitali more than anyone. Lennox may well have floored him, and he would have kept on targeting those horrible cuts for sure. VitKlit put on a great fight, and came up short, there's no shame in that, and he's established his own dominance since Lennox retired. Lennox Lewis is all wrong for Vitali, and one day, maybe one day we can put this debate to rest :good
Looking at the voting options I voted "Lewis won fair and square". But it wasn't as easy as some of you put it up here. More like the cut (its not Lewis fault that he cut vitali. it happens) made Vitali feel a sense of urgency knowing the fight could possible be stopped. So he went all guns out blazing trying to take Lewis out, which he failed. IF he wasn't cut he wouldn't been tired by round six and COULD have won POSSIBLE. But the FACT is Lewis WON. And no whining about that. **** happens............
Good summation...although I disagree with the "punchers chance". Vitali doesn't show us the one-punch knockout power to KO Lewis. He just doesn't commit to his punches enough...and seems to be a bit robotic in stance to really throw his weight behind his punches. His best chance was the one he had.
Your spelling and grammar are awful mother****er. I didn't even finish reading that ****ing disaster.
