Leonard mentally humilated Hagler. Before the fight, at times during it, and certainly after it by winning the decision.
Haglar screwed up. He fought the first couple rounds right handed and it was obvious it was not working and he tossed those rounds away. Even the announcers were saying it was a bad move while he was doing it. Haglar also lacked his typical agression. I had the fight a draw and thought Leonard did about as much as he could, and Haglar underperformed.
Humiliation is an overstatement. The fight was very close which could have gone either way. There's no humiliation even in losing such a close fight.:huh
