This vid shows Lewis landing a lot of jabs on fighters displaying por head movement, every fighter on the vid is just completely central, was it a case of Lewis having a great long jab or did he just meet fighters with poor defensive skills? This content is protected
Philly and blackcloud, I checked to see if the guy that posted this vid on youtube pasted it here, so don`t moan.
I'm pretty sure NZA is on here Also lewis' left hand was his key to complete ring ddomination. At his best he'd have complete control over his opponents
Can you explain why? I must be missing what's going on here. As for your original post: Yeah I would describe the left hand as masterful. He made exceptional use of the left hand. A lot of it had to do with the awesome mechanics and the athletic fluidity in how he threw. But it also had to do with his ring intelligence and the threat of a booming right hand, which could end an opponent's night with either and uppercut, a straight, or an overhand. A think I lot of guys hesitated because of that threat from the power hand, which allow Lewis to pile up points and damage with the jab before going in for the kill.
I wonder why you haven’t? Lol. Just kidding, Ant man. Anyway he can’t answer you on why he’s been booted cos ..... he’s been booted!
I wouldn’t call LL’s left hand masterful at all. Magisterial, imperious, domineering, authoritative, yes, but not masterful.
Im actually glad you brought this to light, im curious as to why he was booted I assumed it had something to do with the... ahem, interesting Marciano thread, but he didn't say anything terrible on it (mods if you read this I'm not questioning your decision I just wanted to know why, please don't boot me) perhaps they believed he was spamming with his constant "Top ___" threads
Lewis was the total package...I've always said he beats any HW history As far as his left goes, it all goes back to his superior leverage, same as his right. I think he did beat a lot of guys with subpar defense, but he can exploit just about any fighters defense It would have been interesting to see him against a defensive wizard like James Toney but their careers just missed other
Whatever it was, it was damn effective, which is all that really matters. Maybe more masterful use, than it being masterful itself.
Nope all wrong. For bypassing word barriers (which mods by the way, I didn't know was wrong and I won't do again). Think it was the Mack is back comment in top 100 thread
