He's one fight away from cementing his legacy. I'm not sure it'll happen because of the politics, though.

If he beats Mikey Garcia or he cleans up more at 135 then yes.

Not yet, but definitely on his way and doesn’t really beat around the bush with tune-ups etc.
If he’s achieved all of this in his first 12 pro fights, by his 24th he won’t leave any questions about where he belongs historically.

Certain posters don't proof read and get angered by comments saying Broner is comparable to Lomachenko

Overrated. Hyped. But a good fighter. No Floyd Mayweather.

You're right. He creates action and applies pressure. Actually wants to entertain the fans and take on challenges. And pretty sure Loma won't go down in the books as a drug cheat.

Becomes one after unifying the division with wins over good 135ers i.e Garcia, Easter. A couple of wins in 140 would help.

I would say no, not quite there yet. Would like to see him collect more belts at the same time, and in some way “unify” a division. Don’t get me wrong, we all know he has been the best at any division he has fought in, but with multiple belts we have a sealed proof.

But he is very close imo. Closer than anyone I have seen with only 12 pro fights.

The most common way fighters progress through the weight classes is through age, and naturally filling out. People seem to forget this. Loma is 30 now, and he’s clearly above his natural weight, but he still did the business.

Exactly. Boxing fans tend to have a sort of bandwagon mentality, and are WAY too quick to call someone HOF-worthy, and, as this thread demonstrates so clearly, an ATG

Lomachenko has a long way to go to claim both statuses. Let him accumulate a few more victories against top opponents and have a career-defining fight against someone like Garcia, and then we can talk.

Linares fought Euro level guys since he last lost. He isn't better than Garcia, and who knows if he would beat Easter's mediocre arse. Loma isn't an all time great yet. Nobody who isn't gargling his cum thinks he would beat a Duran, Floyd, Whitaker, Armstrong, etc. He will have to beat some top quality guys, and there are some around at 130, 135, and 140. So we will see.
