    No imho.

Although his lack of experience is a mitigating factor, and though he has unquestionable talent, Loma showed a temperament I call 'Dominic Guinn/Mike Weaver/Rocky Juarez Syndrome', characterized by tentativeness and refusal to throw punches for extended periods of time.

Although Loma doesn't have a severe case, throughout the fight he went through spells where he appeared fatally indecisive. He was obviously intimidated and easily rattled.

You can teach a fighter to tighten his defense. You can get him to straighten his punches and tuck his chin. You can do drills to improve his footwork. But if you have to scream at a guy to get him to throw punches, he'll break your heart every single time.

I thought it was world class to be honest.
It only his 2nd flight, taking on a former champion who is almost 2 weight divisions above him. He is fighting a home fighter on his own soil. He get's low blow'd constantly than he nearly stops his man in the 12 round.

This guy is going be a boxing megastar by his 10th pro fight.

He was a few punches away from scoring the knockdown that could of won him the title, so I would say he has the potential to grab a belt, for what that is worth.

It was a close fight against a top 10 FW titlist. So yes, of course...

I see world class already but not quite elite at least not yet

He has no infighting, he was missing his body attack, very little power to the head, holds a lot, easy to hit to the body, gets hit circling out

the good, conditioned enough to go 12, pulled it close after falling far behind, can take a punch

Maybe Salido is just his poison but I bet Lomachenko wins a rematch

Yes anyone saying NO is hater, BUT he and his team were arrogant to think he should fight fighter like Salido for the tittle, he needs to adjust to pro style and for that he needs more fights if he had 10 to 15 pro fight he would have beaten Salido, best fighters start slowly with stepping up competition but his team being smart asses thought they are smarter than anyone in history of boxing and that cost them!!!

Hes a level above a club fighter.

Hes not that good. He should really contemplate retirement.

He didn't look good at all. When Salido was backing off on the defensive why didn't Loma let his hands go?
