Has been so inactive these past couple years, and inactivity, especially for an older fighter, spells doom. If he has retired, good for him, wish him all the best, I just never saw an article saying so.

    He's only 45?!?

I thought he was about 45 when he fought Wilder the first time.

For one last payday - he should take on Danier Pero.

The guy that was 47 on heart meds for Wilder 1?

Means he probably is 54 on an oxygen tank and dialysis by now

Ortiz would be an ideal opponent for Klitschko's Comeback, both of them being of a similar age.

Bring on Wilder III. I think he has aged Wilder out enough to beat him now.

I think he just went on a very long bender on his 30th birthday, I hear he's a lot younger than what official records state.

Nah, he was 45 when he fought Peter Jackson. He was around 60 fighting Langford for the second time. Cracking fight tho. King Kong had a little heart attack during the 55th round, but managed to go to distance.

I think he will likely fight again in 2025. His inactivity is without a doubt due to PBC being in the gutter. Ortiz had a tuneup/comeback fight in January of this year against some can in Colombia. And I am certain he was trying to get another fight back in America, but nothing came of it.

He wants to fight until he's 90.
Only 4-5 years to go then.
