Haven’t heard anything about him since the Ruiz Jr fight. Did he finally hang the gloves up?

It’s more likely that he is too greedy and cannot land a fight as Tiresome has parked the division up with his shenanigans.

Hopefully some top fighters sign for meaningful fights now we know Tiresome is facing an MMA fighter in a boxing match for this years only fight.

Yes he's finally reached a pension age and now and he is riding into the sunset.

I suspect he'll come back for one last payday to be fed to a prospect. Wouldn't surprise me if he fights Anderson or Jalolov sometime next year.

Can't blame him for being greedy. He's not getting another title shot, so he might as well just wait for another big fight if it comes.

I'd personally have been calling out Anthony Joshua if I was him as I think Ortiz is still better than Whyte.

He called out Tyson Fury a month or so ago.

But Fury was afraid of the old man and decided to fight someone who never boxed before.

Hard to believe he has a win over Bert Cooper.

No idea what's going on with him, probably like others have said waiting for another payday that may never happen. He's old.

Ruiz gobbled up his walking stick backstage, and also his career.

Actually he retired from the union in 76 when he was 55, then started up boxing out of boredom. LOL

No reason he can't have a few more fights. His legs are shot and his chin looks shakey but he could still beat a few guys in the top 20.

At this stage of his career he'll probably only fight if he's paid a decent purse. He can't do what he did before and pad the record with journeymen while waiting for a payday as he could be shot overnight at his age. So better to stay inactive and hope someone with a names looks to pad their record with him.
