Did Mackie Shilstone actually make a difference in the Holmes/Spinks fight?

As a last comment many people don't realise that Shilstone had been Spinks conditioning coach for years prior to the Holmes fights. He wasn't just brought in to build Spinks weight up.

Spinks walking around weight was about 190 so Shilstone went from having to take of 25 pounds off Spinks every time he fought at light heavy to having to add 25 pounds onto him. Complete opposite ends of the scale and i think it shows how versatile and impressive Shilstones knowledge really was.
