Good question... I never once thought Floyd was in jeopardy when he fought Maidana, even when Maidana landed that beautiful counter in the 3rd round of their rematch... But I saw Pac hurt Floyd.
No, but he hit him more often (in their first match) - a by-product of him throwing about twice as many punches as Manny.
Harder and more often, in my view. Maidana looked to actually hurt Floyd, where as against Pacquaio I always had the feeling Floyd took the punch well, then hoped Pacquaio would swarm and create a counter opportunity.
He hit him more often and the clean shot when he countered the pull counter in round 3 was a bone jarring shot. Manny caught Floyd in round 4 but it wasn't anywhere near as beautifully executed so we can't compare them like for like in that sense.
That shot at the end of round 3 in their 2nd fight? Absolutely. That was harder than anything he caught from Pac.
