Did Maidana seem mentally ready to go last night?

He won a fight that he was clearly unmotivated to begin with. Those are the toughest fights to win, and look good in.

Where Maidana beat Corley, Khan was KNOCKED OUT by Prescott, and he didn't rematch Prescott.

    :lol::patsch Okay then.

Where Khan beat Kotelnik, Maidana was beaten by Kotelnik, and he didn't rematch Kotelnik.

Go back to sleep now :hi:.

Honestly, the analogy isn't on a par. Maidana/Kotelnik was a close fight which a few felt Maidana won, but realistically Kotelnik pulled it out by a round or two.

Khan, on the other hand, with his notoriously terrible chin, was KO'ed within 50 seconds by a brawler with average boxing skills at best.

One warrants a rematch more than the other.

I'm just playing the game in the same way.

Prescott hasn't done **** all to be honest. He's lost twice. Come back and won a fight, and won another against a bum he looked average in. Yes, Khan could avenge that but I see that being after the Maidana fight (Assuming Khan get's past Maidana).

Whereas Kotelnik has proved to be a legitimate top 10 140 pounder so Maidana who is arguably ranked higher by many people than Kotelnik should rematch him or call him out to set the score right.

But Maidana won't do that. Kotelnik beats him again and easier this time. Maidana hasn't improved since that fight from what I've seen which is quite surprising, but I guess it just goes to show how limited the guy is then.

We all know Khan could arguably win in a rematch unless he get's clocked again.

If he fought Maidana, there would be NO need to rematch Prescott because Maidana is Prescott x5. But the rematch could still happen just to clear Khan's blemish.

Maidana clearly beat Kotelnik in my eyes and so did many that watch it as well. It was close but it was a close win for Maidana. Look at Kotelnik face, he was busted up. But of course the decision went with Kotelnik cause it was in germany.

It could have gone either way and MANY would agree to that. And actually, even if it was on neutral territory, I think the champion would have kept it based on his clean effective punching. Maidana hit gloves. Saying I clearly didn't watch the fight is stupid when people said it could have gone either way.

All good fighters have nights where they aint that great, Maidana was fighting a nothing fight for average money when he wants to be in the big fights getting big money.

I just think he looked very demotivated.

inactivity in a fighter breeds uncertainty

a focused fighter is one that has been fighting

    maidana has not been.

This Lazarus is either related to or is sleeping with Amir Khan. He definatly and clearly DIDNT watch that fight or he would know that Maidana was simply the victim of a German hometown decision.

How the **** can you think Kotelnik beat Alexander but was robbed in america...but not say Maidana beat Kotelnik and was also robbed in germany?

Your a toss. Plus DONT make comparisons to Pacquiao and Khan, they share the same trainer and thats where it ends

And you're one of the most ******ed posters on ESB. You're a hater. Pure and simple. If anyone looks through your posts they will laugh.

You're a keyboard warrior and have probably NEVER stepped in a ring, but you'll obviously deny that .
