not saying maidana could beat mayweather but did he show the blueprint on saturday? granted mayweather is superior to broner in every aspect but if a harder hitting puncher attacked floyd as relentlesly as maidana did to broner would that be the way to beat mayweather? the fighter would have to have a strong chin in order to walk through mayweathers counters. he would also need the stamina to chase floyd down and the ability to cut the ring. i see floyd getting very frustrated and would do a lot of pushing off with elbows and clinching, if the ref was fair there would be points deducted. lets face it floyd is probably unbeatable at this point but one can dream right? :yep

    No.

Broner doesn't have a good defence, Floyd has the best in the game - that alone make any comparison null and void.

No. Broner can't even sniff Floyd's skill level. Floyd would destroy Maidana.

Doesn't matter cause he would hit mostly air and get countered to death. Maidana's bread and butter was his overhand right. Floyd won't be in range to take those shots like Broner did.

In your dream, Floyd will chew any current right handed fighter up. The only way to beat Floyd start with a southpaw stance to eliminate the shoulder-roll and jab to the body.

It's not a blueprint because Broner shows flashes of Mayweather skills, but Floyd would never allow himself to be trapped like that and hit with some of those looping left hooks. The last pressure fighter who tried a looping left hook on Floyd got check hooked into a turnbuckle. That being said, Maidana-style pressure and determination would give Floyd some problems.

i feel u. i actually think a fighter that would throw floyds game off would come at him and switch stances from orthodox to southpaw constantly and attack like a mad man lol i honestly don't think anyone can beat him at this point.

Therefore the attack that Maidana employed against Broner would be completely ineffective against Floyd.
