A left handed swarmer/brawler would give Mayweather his hardest fight.

Trouble is there are none around at a good level.

floyds defense is phenomenal, that being said it is not impenetrable, if a hard hitting swarmer attacked him nonstop eventually he would land something big. like i said i do not believe there is anyone out there that can do it.

floyd knows to box with great footwork and head movement and will land shots on anyone. there not powerful typically though.

maidana is gonna go in there with guerrero gameplan .. maidana mite be able to do it better tho.

Even then, I think it'd have to be someone with straighter punches and a superior, more active jab than Maidana (although he has improved those aspects of his game).

Just because someone uses Philly shell doesnt mean he is FLoyd, he got hit with punches that good defensive fighter sees from a mile away he has average defense and thats it, and absolutely bum level footwork and punch output!!

i think it would be the opposite, i think u would have to attack floyd using unconventional methods and punches from different angles. he gets frustrated easily and does not like to be out of his comfort zone.

So many dull people on this forum. The gap in talent, skill, and intelligence between Floyd and Broner is astronomical.

Floyd would beat Maidana to death.

Floyd would never get hit with outrageous lead left hooks from the outside like Broner did.

I think that someone who is as fast or faster than Floyd will beat him. Someone like Bradley, who has the combination of speed, skills and determination to make a 37 year old Floyd work. I don't think a slow, predictable brawler like Maidana or anyone similar to him would beat an ATG like Floyd. It's going to take another A level type talent to beat Floyd.

No ! you don't get it do you ? Broner doesn't have floyds footwork and abilty to make maidana work harder.Broners team had the wrong gameplan completely.
