Mayweather wanted it random, Manny didn't. So mayweather said 7 days before the fight but Manny said no less than 30, but then both gave in a bit and Mayweather said he wanted 14 then, meeting half way but Manny would only go down to 24 days before. At least Mayweather tried to meet in the middle.

    This.

They had no problem with the tests, Roach even said that they only needed 4 days before the fight with no tests, later they wanted 24 days.

Random isn't planned at all, random can be taken at anytime and anywhere unknown to the fighter being tested. A cut off date still gives the fighter a clue of when he will be tested.

Ok, any chance you can post a link to where you got the info from? Not having a go mate but no good constantly making these claims without backing it up.

They thought Mayweather would decline their bull**** weight penalty so they could save face.

When that did not work they used the PED tests as a way out.

But you just said that wasn't random. if I'm not mistaken Pac gave blood just 20 days before the Clottey fight on top of that called out both Floyd and Shane.

I'll look for something but it was quite a bit back. I've heard DLH and Richard both say it.

    GBP has backed this up.

Calling him out and actually signing the contract are two different things. If he wanted to fight Floyd as badly as they claim, we would have seen it last night. :deal

Instead, we got an obvious cherry pick and setup fight. Clottey was a joke. Anybody with any clue on how to breakdown a fight knew what they would see last night: Pacquiao going to work on a walking heavy bag.

It is also disgusting that the Manny dick sucking fest has made Clottey into some type of elite. The guy fought at 147 pounds for 15 ****ing years and has never won ANYTHING. That is a clear case of a "gate keeper" and "non-elite" fighter.

Another product of Bob Arum and his Top Rank hype.

But was it a cut off date for random testing?

"Manny will submit to as many random urine tests as requested," said Arum, who wants the testers used in the NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball. "Regarding the blood tests, he will subject himself to three tests, one given in January during the week the fight is formally announced, one 30 days from the fight, no later than 13 February, and the final one immediately following the fight, in Manny's locker room."

My understanding of it was he was prepared to move the test 30 days out forward to 24 days, I haven't seen any quotes saying they agreed to random testing up to the 24 day cut off but if anyone has then post them.
