Nov. 23: Formal negotiations for Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather began.

Dec. 1: Mayweather agreed to terms for a welterweight title bout versus Pacquiao.

Dec. 4: Pacquiao agreed to a proposal from promoter Bob Arum. Pacquiao and Arum met for two hours to discuss the proposed deal, according to Pacquiao adviser Michael Koncz, who told The Associated Press that "Manny has some additional requirements, requests, which Arum didn't think was a problem."

Dec. 22: The megafight was put in jeopardy after the camps' failure to agree on the manner of drug testing for the fight. According to Golden Boy Promotions, which represents Mayweather, Pacquiao refused to agree to the Olympic-style drug-testing procedures the sides had been negotiating. Mayweather requested that the drug testing for the fight be in compliance with the United States Anti-Doping Agency, which handles testing for Olympians, "to ensure fair play and sportsmanship by both fighters."

Note the Pac agreed to the proposal and wanted some ADDITIONAL requirements. Note that Pac's adviser does not mention a drug test problem.

And then look at the date between the notes. Dec 4 to Dec 22

LOL at anybody who takes these clowns and their word seriously.

They blatantly ducked Mayweather and anybody who does not have Pacquiao's **** in their mouth knows it.

By the way those quotes were from December 23rd, by the 7th of January he had agreed to fight Clottey so they are not that old.

Manny Pacquiao and his team walked away from negotiations and signed a fight with a walking heavy bag 3 days later.

They ducked Mayweather and ran away to fight a guy who has never been relevant in his 15 years of fighting. Another fighter controlled by Bob Arum as well.

Manny and his team are a walking contradiction in regard to fighting Mayweather. They are scared of their meal ticket getting worked.

It was mayweather who declined the offer, Floyd also had another chance, but decided to take on JMM instead. :hi:

Why would Floyd take on Pac right out of a near two year break?

Actually his injury postponed his fight with JMM, so Pacquiao signed to fight Cotto instead of waiting for Mayweather. Of course, feel free to keep lying to yourself about the chain of events.

Mayweather did not decline the offer. Mayweather is the one who made the offer of a 14-day cutoff. Manny is the one who refused and signed a fight with a walking punching bag 3 days later.

Nobody viewed last night as a success except *******s. Seriously, it was a joke of a fight and it was obvious to anybody with some objectivity that they are scared of Mayweather and fought this clown instead.
