He's saying Floyd had the chance to fight Pac but choose Marquez instead.

Cause you know he thinks Pac is the greatest fighter ever and Mayweather thinks he's the greatest fighter ever.

So Mayweather shouldn't need a warm up.

Floyd refused the 24 days; he didn't have to counter offer seeing as he was already meeting in the middle with offering a 14 day window (going from 1 day before the fight). Pac comes down only 6 days from 30 and floyd went up 14. He wanted the 14 day window or nothing. Offering 24 days wasn't really an offer to be taken seriously all things considered.

Let me explain this to you my son. Freddie is a fakking coach/trainer. He does not negotiate or has no hands in any dealings of Pac. He gives advice, but that is about it. But if you are here to argue that Roach is speaking for Manny, I say no, you say yes. I can not argue any more with you because I do not see it as you do, with the reasons I gave. If those were so hard to understand, I myself will not understand you.

You gave football as an example. If a coach asks the players to do something in the game, the players do it. But if a coach asks the players to do something outside the game that is not mandated by any rule or by the league, the players have the right to say no.

If you consider the whole training seasion of two months (60 days), or from the announcement date, the 30 day cut-off was more than generous to begin with. People keep forgetting that Pac was okay to any additional blood test the commission might ask even inside their cut-off window. In the end, Floyd had 48 hours to counter, but did not for whatever reason. Whether his ego, or he is plainly really scared.

 

Yea Roach has been very inconsistent with a lot of things he said following the negotiations with Floyd and the steroid/PED issue. Pac saying he didn't even know what a steroid is takes the cake for sure though.

 

floyd offered the 14 days..also, freddie said they would do 5..like it or not what freddie says can be taken for face value..he is part of team pacquiao ..if he says something than its valid..pac needa tell him to shut up if he's not getting the right info to the media or anyone else
