Floyd would never have stepped in the ring against Spence. That’s the difference between greatness and self preservation.

I would have liked to see pacquiao against one of the younger smaller guys at 135-140..

    better matchup size size.

Certainly not past age forty, I agree. I loved that Manny still had that thirst to distinguish himself and keep adding to his greatness.

Now's the time for him to take a load off and shoot a satisfied look back over all he's accomplished in the sport.

Though I started making a point of relishing his bouts and not taking them for granted in his later years, knowing that it would be a sad day when his final perma-smiling ringwalk had been walked, I hope he doesn't return. And I don't think he will. He's a wiser man than often given credit for, I believe.

Perfect answer, where he belongs rather than fighting up & giving away any if all his advantages to much bigger & younger guys while he himself being so inactive & old battle tested,

Getting a tune up due to him being out for more than two years & then fighting at his proper weight especially now that his physical attribute's had severely lesioned would have been the way to go,

Oh & actually getting a Strength Conditioner Coach that actually knows how to do his job while replacing Roach out for Buboy permanently would have done it.
