Bob Foster absolutely pulverized Dick Tiger and Mike Quarry would he have dropped Lennox Lewis with those punches?

Well Foster did stagger iron chinned Ali a few times so he'd have a good chance of dropping frail chinned Lewis yeah.

I find it impossible to compare the power of fighters from different eras, just because they never fought the same opponents. Also, how do you guage power other than the effect a certain punch has on a certain fighter?

For example, would the left hook Frazier landed on Ali in the final round of FOTC had the same impact on Mike Tyson or Lennox Lewis? We can only hazard a guess at best. Sure, it's fun to pontificate but I love it when people are so sure about such things!

I have often wondered how much force a punch has to have to knock out virtually anyone. Is there a magic number that will separate a man from his senses? Even then you would have to factor in the chin of the recipient and the timing of the punch.

So did Marciano hit harder than Frazier? Well I can't see Frazier one punching Walcott and I am not sure Rocky could floor Ali in the fifteenth! I would say that they are pretty similar in the power stakes, and both wore you down rather than looked for one shot all the time.

Nobody would take the **** out of their power, in my opinion.

it is a bad myth, the chin of rocky is another myth, i say convinced that frazier did hit harder , was stronger and had a better chin

He cant even read properly , no one has said Marciano did not have knockout power ,what I have questioned is his one punch ko power and I provided a quote from Archie Moore given just 15 years after their fight in which he says he was ground down, but Silly bollocks can't read so what the ****?:patsch
