Did Marciano train down to the 180s?

    Uh, Marcinbo's stamina was insane one way or the other. The "ubermensch" agenda is yours--you are the one who is saying he didn't have to train for it.

    You first...what camps are there reporters there for, because the only mention of reporters being at camps that I read of in his biography were the last few where he was openly talking about how he didn't want to do it any longer.

    Incorrect. Read Undefeated. When he was talking about possibly retiring before the Moore fight he told reporters that he wasn't doing the training like he used to for, I think, the last three fights. I will look it up later.

    Moore was his last fight.The book is called Unbeaten , it's by Mike Stanton and I have it.
    My point is he didn't start training less after the Walcott fights.
    From July 4th 1955 until Sept 19th Marciano had run approximately 500miles and boxed 120rds for his last defence ,against Archie Moore..He boxed Moore on the 21st of Sept. He told this to Peter Wilson in an interview at Grossingers his training camp.
