No,, we don't know that Marciano would naturally be 210lbs,that is just a supposiion on your part, you've no proof of it.
At 24 he weighed 180lbs to fight Vingo, you're suggesting he lost 30lbs of "natural weight to do. so.

His walk around weight was 200 plus. He was especially heavy after the military. This isn’t supposition. This is fact. After Marciano retired he really ballooned to 260 pounds. He trained down to 215 for the computer fight. His family has stated his walk around weight was 210-220. He is naturally a big man. Who trained down. To say otherwise is lying
I’m sure in the mix of his career he stayed in good shape. Before he started and played ball he was well over 200. He experimented w lower weights and felt to weak below 180.

You say his walk around weight was 200lbs plus.
Where do his family make these claims ?

After the military Marciano would be heavy,he had spent all that time in a military prison.
Who says Marciano was well over 200lbs when he played baseball?
You are very quick to call posters liars.
I boxed at welter and middle after retiring from work I gained weight and am now about192lbs which is as irrelevant to my younger natural weight as was Marciano's,
    How about you answer this?

At 24 he weighed 180lbs to fight Vingo, you're suggesting he lost 30lbs of "natural weight to do so.

He started his career at 192. Not 180. He only got that low as he didn’t know what his optimum weight would be. I don’t know what he weighed between every fight. I do know if he had time he would balloon in weight. This isn’t some odd thing in boxing. Most fighters drop a ton of weight in camp. Marciano was no different.
As far as his family goes I’ve had multiple conversations w Peter Marciano.

And in his next fight was 185lbs Marciano was 190 or more just 4 times in his career of 49 fights. As far as his Brother goes, I do not consider him an objective source on anything regarding Rocky, and his behaviour at the Holmes v Spinks post fight press conference indicates to me he is a classless human being.
I never said Marciano was 180 when he began boxing I said he was 180lbs at the age of 24.
ps You still didnt answer my question.

U acknowledge he weighed more between fights and when he came home from the military as a young man. U know he trained down even admitting outside camp he liked to eat. I’m not sure what ur arguing about and what question ur asking? Are u inferring he weighed 190 the whole time? That wouldn’t make sense of any fighter. I only mentioned Rocky when he was a bit older because it shows before his career started after and during he was 200 plus. This is not an odd thing for a HW fighter.

I'm challenging your premise that Rocky was naturally 220lbs

He trained down because he wanted better stamina, but if he trained like Tyson he would be 200 lbs of pure muscles.
But he didn't need muscles, because they don't win fights, he already was very strong man he wanted stamina so he could fight longer not to gas out like Tyson or Foreman.

Different times, people underestimate how different training regimes and food were back then. For example, I had an injury that kept me away from heavy training for 2 years, so I started doing old-fashioned workouts with lower weights. Additionally, I quit soda, biscuits, cakes, ice cream, and bread. I ate a lot, but it was all homemade sourdough bread, etc. Despite that, it was extremely difficult for me to recover my old weight; I lost about 20 pounds after the injury.

Why do I mention this? I think old-timers like Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano had different training regimes and food back then. The quality of food was much better than it is now. They had lean physiques because, unlike today, food didn't have as much sugar and saturated fats. They ate quality that didn’t make them gain weight easily

He was naturally over 200 when not training. How u can even argue this is absurd. I said his family said he got as high as 220. I assumed from what I’ve read he was in the 200-210 area. The worst part is u know this. I asked u do u think Marciano weighed 190 before training camp? Maybe even 185-190? If he didn’t then breaking 200 isn’t difficult in the slightest. You already admitted he was over 200 when he came back from the military so I’ll go with ur answer yes he was over 200 when not fighting

This is so easy to understand and backed up by every metric of data we have. I’m not sure why it’s being argued other than Marcianos name is involved

Yes different times. What exists now is not normal.

People do not realise that it simply was not achievable for fighters of 5’10” to weigh as high (in the ring) until much later on. No matter how big they were when they were not training, optimal weight for all fighters was lower because of what would be considered dietary limitations. They could later. Not then. There were limits, a ceiling on was at was functionally possible from the diet and training as it was then.

I can’t believe people think Fighters around now could EVER weigh, look or even FUNCTION like they do now in the past. A lot of opinions are based on believing that the giants we have now could somehow exist then as they are now.

Additionally, we now have supplement shakes that can add up to like 3000 calories to our diet, which they didn't have back then. And of course, the use of steroids

He was 5`9, a natural middleweight, I think his diet was very fattening, his body didn`t have much definition.

Everything is possible today? By that you mean platform shoes and arm surgery to lengthen his 67" reach?
