Maybe i mean after the fight pac said that he will never fight that high in weight again so it may really have taken something out of him plus the wars with the like of cotto and the mexican trio surely took its toll.

Pacquiao is the only fighter I know of with the possible exception of Marvin Hagler who fans feel like they can just miraculously recover from mutliple wars with ease.

Theres only so much any man can take before his body breaks down.

He always sort of took a punch to give more punches. He looked good with yet even there Mosley had speed also. Bradley and Marquez were tough style matchups. He was never a great great defensive fighter. Not to me anyway.

Tim Bradley planted the seeds of doubt and made pacquiao question his aura of invincibility. Marquez watered those seeds and enjoyed the fruit. He hasnt been the same since.

Outside of the one body shot, what did Margarito land with power?

Well he did land, and thing with fighting much bigger guys is everything hurts, even shots partially blocked. Like being hit with a sledge hammer.

He got accused after Hatton fight by a jealous mayweather sr. He stops cotto next fight and then still knocks everyone down there after. Jmm, Mosley, Bradley, shoulda stopped Margarito, algeiri. So power was always there.

I guess you weren’t around at the time so you don’t Understand the context. When Pac was moving up, he was underestimated, by Mab and jmm. When he moved up, the big guys thought they could mail him so they got stopped ala Hatton, cotto. THe guys after that learned to fight defensive, clottey, algeiri, Margo and Rios even had their guards up instead of blocking with their face. In short he could still knock these guys down, but they were taking less punishment because they were defensive. Look how much punishment it took to stop mab.

Have you seen the list if guys he fought at welterweight. He was fighting a whose who of iron chins tbf.

Oscar was drained, Hatton had been KOd by Floyd and was wartorn on coke and drinking sessions between camps ans Cotto was just overwhelmed, made him look like a KO machine but then he fought extremely tough durable guys in:

Clottey, never been stopped, even injured against Margarito.

Marquez, unable to KO him in two prior fight, Marquez has never been stopped.

Margarito, only stopped once, known for having a granite mandible.

Mosley, never been stopped, also granite.

    Bradley, never stopped, solid beard.

Rios, never stopped at that point, known for solid chin.

Floyd, granite chin, never been stopped.

Vargas, seems to have a solid beard, never been stopped.

Horn, decent chin, only stopped by elite fighter since.

And just to go into more depth, Pacquaios power still showed, he beat the hell out of Margo and essentially ended his career with an eye injury which is as bad as anytbing Ive seen. Mosley was dropped and asked to quit, Floyd was wobbled twice, Marquez was dropped and on the verge if being stopped bwfoee he landed the KO punch himself, Rios was never the same after, Bradley was dropped a couple of times and hurt too, Horn was near being stopped, Algieri and Matthysse were down like yoyos, Vargas was dropped.

Pacquaios power eriding is a myth, he just went on a run of. Fighting hard as **** guys.

    Lmao absolutely not.

This was one of the worst cherry picks in recent history.

Pac was in his absolute prime. Marg hadn't scored a meaningful victory in over two years. Plus it was at a catch weight for a meaningless paper belt.

This fight was a one sided massacre. Pac did whatever he wanted to the slow, shot Mexican punching bag.
