only facts please, with reliable sources. I could be wrong but from what I've understood so far Margarito placed an additional gauze insert under his handwraps that had been previously used and that contained traces of elements that are found in plaster of paris. However, he did not harden his fists since although there were traces of elements that can be found in plaster of paris, there was no actual plaster of paris in his handwraps. please confirm or deny with any reliable sources that you may have.
This again? "Traces"...you got it right. Cotto's face looked just as, if not more, banged up after the Pacquiao fight than it did after the Margarito fight. Not that that proves anything...just saying. That avatar is dope, Philla
The pads in his wraps were hard. The pads had a substance smeared across them. Multiple sources called it "plaster like" His manager said the pads were pre treated.
The California commission found enough evidence to revoke the man's license. That speaks volumes that the most pansy, liberal state in the union would strip a man of his ability to make a living. So yes, he did harden his hands.
I saw an interview with Freddie Roach where he claimed that Margo begged him to be his trainer after the Mosley fight. Freddie said something along the lines of Margo claiming to have not known anything and that it was his trainers fault. I took it as Margo acknowledging that he was cheating but wouldn't take responsibility for it.
The only officially said "facts" are here: "Margarito, ..... said he's followed strict instructions by his managers to stop all dialogue with former trainer Javier Capetillo, who in February 2009 told the California commission that he accidentally inserted the plaster-hardened pieces atop the knuckle areas of both of Margarito's hands." http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=3897765 http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/sports_blog/2010/03/antonio-margarito-boxing-manny-pacquiao.html So Margo is innocent, his trainer is guilty by 'accident' whatever this means.
Roberta Olvera claimed that there was a substance on the wraps "similar to what is used to make a cast". She is Mosley's doctor. Stephen Espinoza, who works for Golden Boy, claimed the wrap had "a plaster like substance" on it which was "beginning to harden". Fransisco Espinoza, who works for Margarito (management I think?) said that the gauze had been prepared some weeks earlier (?) and that a wet cloth had caused it to harden (???). I thought that the fact that the plaster had started to harden was settled and find these threads bizarre. There are only two possibilities A) A massive conspircay is afoot and B) He cheated.
I don't know, but I do know your tiny asian **** hardens every time you see an image of Pac with his shirt off.
