Does anyone else think that maybe Margie pulled out of the Clottey fight per advice from his personal physicain?

During his check up was he able to follow the fingers?
Did he fail the bouncing ball test?
    Did 2 + 2 = 5 for him?

Did his Dr. advise him to rest for the rest of the year to allow
his brain ( jello ) to stabilize?

Acoording to his fans...Margie will fight anyone , anytime..whoever is put in front of him by his promoter.

I don't have any factual proof or evidence to substantiate any claims...
I am simply offering an opinion.

Hopefully he is ok....but things like this make you wonder!!!

Did Cottos' headripping blows affect him more than they are disclosing to the public?

Anyways I do wish him the best,,,,

Honestly, I think he wants to fight past it Mosley for good money rather than fighting in another tough fight against Clottey for short money.

He will definitely fight Mosley, that's a big-money fight he can't pass on though I really don't think that Mosley would be considered easier than Clottey, even an old Mosley.

So far his management want him to fight on a card soon to be announced with Cotto on the undercard, both fighting decent yet easy opponents and if both succeed they will fight each other in a rematch early next year. That's as far as we know straight from Arum.

Yes I do, his constant pressure could break down anyone, especially an old Mosley. This will all depend on how Mosley decides to fight to be honest, if he goes in there like he did with Cotto looking to exchange most of the time then I believe Margarito will get the better of him. If he can box and has the stamina to keep it up for 12 then he has a great chance.

To answer your question yet again, yes he definitely can with his insane pressure. Won't bet on it but it's possible.

I agree with you wholeheartedly that Margie can even KO Sugar Shane.
He has the implacable style to do so.

Why not? Clottey is better defensively than Mosley. He is more technically sound, and probably hits harder than Mosley at this point in Mosley's career. They both have good handspeed. I don't think Mosley is a pushover, but I do believe that Clottey poses more problems for Margo than does Mosley.

As I've said before, I don't get why there's so much harsh criticism for Margarito. Margarito gets criticized for not fighting guys like Clottey and Paul Williams for second times, yet guys like Cotto and Mayweather got away with not even fighting them once. Margarito is expected to go straight from Cotto into another big fight without a tune up, yet Mayweather had tune ups pouring out his ass, sometimes 2 or 3 (maybe more) in a row.

IMO, Margarito is the victim of a terrible double standard.

Experience and fighting style. If Mosley goes in there to slug like he did against Cotto then you can easily consider Clottey the more difficult opponent but if he goes in there to box and move then he proves to be more difficult in my opinion because of experience, speed and skills.
