Did Margarito's hand wraps issue turn Mosley into a violent beast?

DLH was able to put pressure Floyd on the ropes til he did the usual "Oscar only fights for 6 rds" routine. Hatton was successful early at cutting the ring as well.

Mosley at this point is still very strong and fast and have compact shots. Mosley were throwing these bombs well deep into the fight against a physical fighter (Margo).

If Floyd sees this clip, the fight wont happen for sure. This was Mosley bludgeoning a man no one wanted to fight just over a year ago.

 

Mosley gave his feelings on the fight in the recent Ring magazine. He says that he doesn't blame Margarito and has no hard feelings towards him.

 

Watching what the Philly braintrust comes up with for Shane is going to be fun in his last couple of years. He needed them desperately during the Forrest/ Wright run. Mosley is an excellent body puncher with a great chin. I'd love to see him just plow straight in on Floyd early with a take 2 to land 1 approach, then see what kind of wheels Floyd has left late.

But this scenario is easy to see coming. Pac beats Cotto, Pac - PBF gets made for next year, the event sets PPV records, they each make upwards of 20 mil, Floyd wins, and Shane won't play ball when Floyd demands 65% of the purse. I highly doubt the fight ever happens.

 

That's how Mosley always fought even in his earlier days, it looked too easy against Margarito because of Mosley's positioning He never gave Margarito the distance he needs to unleash his own punches nor did he allow him to set his self for any. Margarito is far too predictable and Mosley took advantage of it.

I suggest you see more fights of Mosley, the Margarito fight is not his only and Mosley was far more ferocious and active in his early days.

 

I was just about to say that lets be honest hes ripe for countering but with his chin, hes in no trouble. What surprises me about Shane at this age is his tank. The man has always and will always be game in the championship rounds.

No... Shane fought the exact same way as he did against Mayorga... lots of holding and wild haymakers, and the same outcome.. I didn't see any difference.
