Did Marquez and his team made a horrible decision of fighting Bradley?

He could've made triple of what he earned against Timmy had he fought Pac for the 5th time. As I've said a long time ago when this fight was announced if the Bradley that fought Pac will be there instead of the Bradley who fought Provo then he has a chance. Marquez could've beaten Pac again convincingly and solidified his ATG status despite "Finding Memo". Instead he has to crawl back again to get that big money fight. Now they will be calling Pac for a 5th fight LOL

They thought they could easily handle Bradley after what Pac and Prodnikov did to him. But JMM got outclassed and exposed as overrated. JMM is where he belongs now and put in place along with the juantards. I think JMM should just retire before it gets even worse as he won't be able to take PEDs for any of his future fights since stringent testing will be imposed.

If JMM fought Pac for the 5th time, there will be VADA+, which means JMM will look his age and get pummeled against the ropes losing by TKO in a dominated fashion, but I bet he will cry robbery again.

Well no, not really. The reason behind fighting Bradley was that Marquez could go for a title in a 5th division, and also he could avoid drug testing. JMM cannot fight Manny again because of the VADA thing. Actually he wont be able to fight anyone again because of that. He did the right thing, and now he will have to retire.

in looking at the fighters in the past that troubled jmm, taking on bradley was a mistake.

he should have fought rios or alvarado or provodnikov for style match up or pac for style advantage and more money instead.

They got tricked by Memo. Memo said his peds will pass the test easily and will still give Marquez the kind of power he had in the PAC fight. Memo had other plan because he knew they were doing strict testing in this fight and he's not 100% sure about his undetectable peds. He gave Marquez Flintstone vitamins telling Marquez they were power pellets and Marquez and Nacho believed him.

the bradley fight was the best fight for jmm at this time. It's just that Bradley was the better fighter last night.

Problem is Pacquiao is only troubled by Marquez, like Ali was to Norton. Having one fighter get figure out your style is acceptable for the greats.

Marquez however is troubled by Pacquiao, Mayweather, Chris John, Norwood and now Bradley.

It was a tough fight. I always knew Bradley would have the upper hand, but Marquez wanted that title. The title he feels he should already have won, when he defeated Pacquiao (since most people think Bradley lost to Pacman). He went for the gold, and laid an egg. I don't feel bad for him though. He made a ton of cash this weekend.

Juan "Money" Marquez will be ok. :) lol

Marquez was afraid to fight Pac again. Pac was outboxing Marquez, then Marquez landed one very lucky punch. Marquez knows he would lose to Pac in a rematch, probably by KO. Bradley is gun shy, since the Provodnikov fight he has turned into a chicken. Provodnikov sure damaged Bradley, now Bradley fights like a chicken. Bradley kept his distance because he was afraid of getting hit.

Bad choice to fight Bradley. Totally the wrong style for JMM. He's looks good against fighters that engage.

Hindsight is 20/20. Had Tim lost, the same question would've been asked. Like why did Tim take this fight after his brutal fight with Ruslan. Or how he gets reckless at times, which a guy like Jmm eats up. Or that Jmm refused vada testing which might've meant he was on something.

JMM wanted to enhance his legacy and saw a kink in Tim's armor. But he got outclassed.

Bradley had great movement against Marquez and hit him and then quickly got out of range. That's called boxing. He wasn't running and was throwing punches from enough angles to keep Marquez from timing him. That right Bradley was so successful with was used sparingly to avoid a Marquez counter.

Speaking of Marquez counters, that spectacular knockout punch against Manny was timed to perfection and Marquez was looking for it all round after it had worked for him earlier in the fight. He knew Manny was open to it and Marquez took damage waiting for the right moment but there was little luck involved. it was pure skill and boxing ability that landed that career defining overhand right.

No they didn't. They wanted to make history the hard legitimate way.
