I dunno but i'm sure a lot of professionals linked to the sport know about this board because i think there is no other board that is better than this one. Everyone is so classy and polite for the most part. When guys like Jim Lampley mention internet boards, he has to be talking about ESB as one of them. I used to post at Maxboxing.com boards and it's so ridiculous there. I actually got banned from some punk mod for getting into a constructive argument with him. Now, that place is dead. And i think it's because it is run by punk mods.
Ive used some others and to be honest ive found them to be nowhere near as good as here. I also got banned from one because i joined an arguement against a mod about something i did not actually believe in but it could be argued. he didnt like the fact that anything he said i had an answer for!
David Haye still posts every so often on MB. He made a thread after the Maccarinelli fight, and put up a picture of his belt on top of his laptop to prove it was really him.
Greetings, new guy on the block. This is a great website. Marquez was referring to the "Eastside Boxing Gym" in the eastside of Houston also known as Cloverleaf. This is one of the sites where he trained in prep for the fight. It is located in the neighborhood where he grew up and his parents still live there. His 15 year old son also trains there and is doing great in the amateurs. Glad to be of help.
There was a thread about this right after he said it and everyone here claimed it's his gym and not this site.

Great Website*****I own the Eastside Boxing Gym, the other 2 he mentioned was "Ultimate Warriors Gym" and "Lopez Boxing Gym" all of who were providing support for his preparation, great sparring and teamwork. A lot of credit to his Father Mr. Arturo Marquez, a very humble and hard working individual. God Bless
