Benvenuti by the way, is horrible to watch!

As per his style; little movement, but his upper body movement allowed him to throw a looping left hook. That is about the extent of his offence. Oh, and more clinching than Wlad Klitschko  From what I've seen of his fight with Griffith (Ring magazine FOTY IIRC) it was a close affair (no shame there of course; Griffith himself is probably not far off the top 10 himself) he was basic as ****, but knew how to work it!

And he won the Val Barker trophy over Ali!!!!

I rate him so highly because....well, how could I not?!?! His win over LMR is devastating, the one time he was made me go 'Wow!' But the success of his career is undeniable, series success over Griffith, great opposition, only odd result he overturned (Tom Bethea injury stoppage loss) and he MUST rank inside the top 10 (but not top 5)

And what a win it was for Monzon :deal (as well as him crushing him quicker in their rematch)

Speaking of Griffith-Monzon; their second fight is probably the worst 'fight' I've ever seen

I think Flea got banned for arguing that Mile Spinks was a greater fighter than Hatton (that's therumour)

I'm Moe Greene, but also a big Sumbu admirer...

    Cheers Ed' :good

I remember Goody Petronelli being asked about a possible fight with Graham, he just laughed and said Graham was top of the "who needs him" list.

There were a several of top middles, not just Graham, who got past over in the 3 years that Hagler fought the more attractive fights of Mugabi, Hearns, Leonard and noboby outside those fighters camps and immediate family gave a rats ass at the time.

Graham was just a victim of bad timing.By the time he had established himself once again after moving up from junior middle, hagler was winding things down and looking for the most lucrative fights.

When the wheels were set in motion for Leonard coming back, contenders like Graham or even the more well known-if inferior-american based up and comers like Tate and Olajide were ****ed.
