Did Mayweather actually just say Canelo should duck elite prime fighters?

Mayweather just telling it like it is and passing along to fighters the formula to make major dollars.
Frustrating to real fight fans, but most even in this forum pay up to see the PPV's regardless of the quality.

How does GGG beating Canelo affect Mayweather's legacy?

Mayweather and GGG are two completely different fighters that go about beating opposition in different ways.
GGG brutalizing Canelo doesn't mean his victory is worth more than Mayweathers decision of Canelo.
Just two different fighting styles, and in fact, fighters like GGG who are known as punchers, usually succumb to fighters like Mayweather who rely almost solely and skill and tactics.

GGG has been picking opponents like Sturm, Martinez, Quillin, Cotto, Canelo but they were all hiding. Which MW did Golovkin avoid?

 

Ya this 'oh canelo deserves an easy fight or warm ' stuff is insane. Martinez was supposed to have a money fight against cottoo then face GGG. Cotton was then supposed to have his warm up against Beale then face GGG. Canelo is then suppose to face GGG but wants a tune up

Canelo needs to take on a C- level or lower fighter like Saunders, Monroe Jr, Rubio or Lemieux before another big fight.

 

None of those fighters make more money fighting GGG than they would most anyone else. The risk/reward ratio doesn't make sense for those fighters to fight Golovkin.

The one really good fighter that does make sense to fight Golovkin is named Erislandy Lara.
Lara believes he's the best fighter in the world and wants to prove it.
Lara has called out GGG, but guess why the G'ster doesn't want to fight Lara?
Bingo! It just doesn't make financial sense for Golovkin to fight Lara. The risk/reward ratio doesn't favor Golovkin.
