How can you say that when factually every time Mayweather vs Pacquiao was ever negotiated it was always Pacquiao who turn it down, and Mayweather being the one left willing to negotiate.

The ONLY time Mayweather has turned down a Pacquiao fight was when he was coming off KO6, and he simply told him get some wins then come talk.
The only reason we didn't get May-Pac in 2010 was Manny.

Who gives a ****. Maybe Pac should have taken the fight 5 years earlier when Mayweather accepted all his demand and only asked that pac take the blood test.

During Manny's prime, Floyd pulled the testing BS out of his butt because he was so scared of Pac. After some back and fourth, Pac eventually agreed to the cut off Floyd wanted and then Floyd withdrew the offer.
Ask yourself, why would Manny ever turn down a fight with Floyd? That doesn't even make sense. He takes a fight with Mosley, Cotto and Oscar but scared to face Floyd?
Floyd has always been the one manipulating or taking fights at the safest point for him to keep his 0. A guy like Pac during his prime was a wrecking machine even Floyd was flabbergasted about on a youtube video. Destroying top fighters. And then he wants to avoid a fight with the biggest name guy who had basically zero chance to hurt him? Just use common sense. lol

 

Mayweather may not hurt him physcially, but a schooling would have destroyed Manny's drawing power since the only reason people gace a damn about him was they actually thought he had what it took win. (fools)

 

Hagler gets a pass for staying at the MW division, as does someone like Carlos Monzon due to the fact the talent pool at MW division was exponentially better than the current state of the division.

From the 70's through 80's, Hagler had the opportunity to fight a lot of great to ATG fighters. Gennady doesn't have that opportunity with the current state of the MW division.

When Hagler fought, people truly didn't know how he would fare against the likes of a Ray Leonard or a Tommy Hearns. Everyone already has a pretty good idea on how Golovkin would fare against any 160 lb fighter.

If he was in fights where people thought "Wow, this is a tough challenge, it's a 50/50 fight and he might not actually win," than I don't think anyone would bring up him moving up even 1 weight class. But he's campaigning at a time when the MW division only houses good fighters, not great ones. So why would anyone care to see him fight guys like Saunders, Eubank, Jacobs, Lee or whoever else when Gennady would clearly be the heavy favorite in all those matchups.

It has nothing to do with his skin tone whatsoever. I'm white, I think Gennady is a very good fighter, but he's not challenging himself. That's what the true ATG's do, they go into certain fights in their careers against guys where you really have no idea if they'll come out of their victorious.

Why are you a babying this 34 year old man. By the way he's not a small middleweight, that's excuse you guys made to justify his disgraceful ducking. A small middleweight is someone like Hagler, or Cotto.
I'm not asking Golovkin to do something that hasn't been done before or expected from a boxer. Moving up one freaking weight division is not big deal you dyck rider. Cotto, Mayweather,Pac, JJM, Bradley, and some many other boxers that I don't mean to mention have done. Hell, you hero was ready to jump to light heavy when Chavez Jr's name came up.
