Yeah floyd is a power puncher... he could of Knocked out every one of his 42 opponents if he wanted too. He just loves putting on boxing clinics! atschatschatsch :verysad Your ****ing ******ed, Void doesnt have power! Get over it, Little JMM could of went 15 rounds with him.
Mayweather was to quick, to fast, and to strong. Had Mayweather laid it on and gone for the KO, that opens up a whole other can of worms that potentially could have let Marquez in the fight. Sorry to say that most of you guys dont know anything about styles or fighter tendencies. Mayweather for instance studies the matchup beforehand. See's his advantages and disadvantages, and fights well within parameters that would guarantee victory. Againt a great counterpuncher like Marquez, Mayweather was'nt about to push the pedal to the metal and have a situation open up where all of a sudden Marquez is landing hard and accurate counters. Someone said it already. Mayweather only opens himself so much because he's a defensive fighter that prefers not to get hit. Mayweather imo did seek a KO, but under his parameters, not the normal parameters or a boxer puncher who smells blood. You push the pedal vs Marquez and it pretty much a guarantee you're going to find yourself getting hit by clean, hard counters.
Ok maybe I go over the top at times.. He's not feather fisted but average power at best! Tons of WW's could of Knocked out Ortiz with 2 free shots, it wasnt special! :nono....:hat
i agree.at 147 floyd's power is average.one thing i note though is he always seems to fly the other guys head, stun him or knock him down in his fights at 147.mmm?
I think he did, it was a tune up he wanted to get some rounds in. I haven't seen the fight since watching it live but it was COMPLETE domination to my memory. I think he did try to stop Mosley though
