Floyd "ducked" Margarito just like the vast majority of boxers have ducked other fighters at a certain point, it's called being smart and looking for the best options available.

Seriously how is it hard to decide?
Fight and beat the lineal champ (yes Baldo sucked but he was still the lineal champ) and become the champ of the division.
Or try to negotiate with someone you hate (Arum) for a fight would bring him about the same amount of money as baldo but not the lineal title.

 

Duckfeather wanted Mosely because he knew Mosely was juiced for the Margarito fight & by agreeing to the olympic testing he knew Mosely would have to be clean.
