Did Mayweather make more in his last fight than Ward will in his whole career?

I'd wager yes considering Ward fights for just around $1m a fight and couldn't pack a phonebooth

Ward might make more in his career but at this point in time he'll have earned less over his career than the Floyd-Cotto fight

Probably, but that's the case for 99.9% of fighters.

Being the Son Of God is one thing, but being the Saviour Of Boxing is quite another.

He could make a bit more or even become a PPV star but he is too inactive.
Hunter talked about moving to HW.

Hard to predict now of course, but it's very possible.

It might also turn out that when Floyd Joy retires and Broner doesn't scale up in the higher weightclasses, Ward would become the main attraction for American audiences.
That could mean a couple of ridiculously expensive PPV's, and even if he doesn't generate half the buys of what Floyd does now, he only needs a couple to sneak past Floyds last payday.

i doubt that's going to happen for ward
he doesn't have a lot to play with in and above his weight class that gets the casual fan talking

roy and bernard had the same problem

But both Roy and Bernard still had a couple of pretty good PPV payouts.
And they had to compete with Floyd, wich Ward doesn't have to probably.

Ward may become popular soon. Still young in the game. No he won't make floyd money but not many have

    Most likely

But Ward is simply a better person, so it really doesn't matter

Wards opposition shits on Floys's opposition though. Ward fought same sized or bigger guys, at their peak, in their prime weight class (except Dawson). He fought the best that were out there, in his own backyard but then again Floyd isn't exactly a traveler either.
