Sorry IB but to me that is pure BS Mayweather BOUGHT his way out of trouble. He wasn't even allowed to mix with the general population, they knew what would probably have happened to him. He should have been treated the same as any other woman beater would have Make him share a cell with Big Leroy. He'd think twice about beating women then

Floyd and Josie have an extremely complicated (and unhealthy, from the outside looking in) relationship.

They've had 'intimate relations' since his release from prison (according to Josie herself in an interview), how many of you knew that?

That's because the only women he can get are those he has to pay for No decent woman would give him the time of day

I wasn't there. I don't know what happened. What I do know is that he didn't hit her in the face. If he did there would be bruises and as far as I know, no pictures of a bruised Josie has surfaced. I poke my wife in the side with my index finger and she gets a bruise. lol I used to work for a judge and these allegations of abuse would come up all the time. Half the time they turned out not to be true.

    See hears the difference .....

Floyd PUBLICALLY states he paid for Genaro 's funeral etc

Floyd PUBLICALLY offers to pay for Joe Fraziers funeral

Now for a genuine good guy......

Bernard Hopkins was a constant companion of a young boxer who was stricken with cancer. He paid for all his treatments & for any needs he had
Spent hours with him through his painful last days & then paid all expenses for his funeral . Bernard didn't publically announce what he did for publicity in fact he was annoyed when the story was revealed. He did it out of compassion & love for his friend.
Oh & BTW for those people that call Bernard a racist the young boxer concerned was a white guy. Kinda shoots down the racist BS doesn't it

Mayweather tried/attempted to pay for another Boxer's funeral (can't remember who) and even announced it on Twitter that he was going to pay for it but the family said "Thanks, but no thanks we will handle it":rofl

A few years back I was a juror in a domestic violence case.
The procecutions assertion was that the husband struck the wife. Both the wife and husband testified that blows were never exchanged.
A loophole in the juror instructions were that you could find the person guilty for physically restraining another person.
In the case, the husband had grabbed the woman by the arm outside their home trying to restrain her from leaving.

10 of the 12 jurors wanted to find the husband guilty and they voted that way.

The 10 other jurors scolded me and another guy for not voting with them.

The jury instructions said, "you may find the defendant guilty for physically pushing or restraining another person against their will."
10 of the jurors harped on that instuction line.
I explained that the instruction said that "you may find him guilty" not that you "must."

I was'nt about to convict a man on domestic violence charges for grabbing his wifes arm and trying to get the argument back inside instead of where it was at, outside.

The reason I post this is to say that there are many convictions for domestic violence where there is'nt a shred of evidence that someone was physically hit.

it really is sad how so many of you harbor distaste for floyd....even if it doesnt boil over into your real life(although i wouldnt doubt it does for many of you)....

ya was genaro's funeral a drop in the bucket for someone like floyd? ya...its the gesture that counts...cant give a guy an ounce of credit....someone made a thread where floyd should get some props(even tho its really old news) and you losers turn it into this bs

Yeah but that swings both ways. Koraun doesn't like his dad. Josie actually speaks far more kindly of Floyd than Koraun does and has a warmer relationship with him.

Koraun siding with Josie's version of events is every bit as suspect as McNair (who is friends with both, for the record, though he does have a business relationship with Floyd as CEO of his record label) siding with Floyd's.

It basically is a deadlock of he said/she said. :conf

I too was on a jury where a 200 pound guy accused a 130 pound woman with assault with a deadly weapon. Turns out the woman was jogging through a park & the guy attacked the woman with intent to **** her. What he didn't know was she was a karate black belt lol In defending herself she broke his nose & jaw.
The judge said " I have one question to ask you sir Did you attack this woman with intent to **** her"?? The fool said " Yes Your Honour"
The judge then just said " Case dismissed This young lady just used sufficient force to defend herself from your attack". He added " Both my son & daughter are karate experts & I know what a black belt is capable of If she'd wanted to she could have done a whole lot more. I commend her for restraining herself" He looked over at us & said" What do you think jury"?? We all clapped & cheered. Ive never seen a man look so embarrassed & ashamed as the clown did to bring such a charge to court
